Also for my silhouette project. Again my illustrations, digitally knitted using Shima knitting machine, basically you input your design into a computer, pixel by pixel, and each pixel is a stitch, once thats done and set up, thats it, the machine knits it off for you. Pretty radbrad? These designs were meant to be on the finer gauge machine so the stitches would have been tighter making the illustrations smaller, however this machine at uni broke, so had to opt for the 7 gauge machine. Still it worked out okay :) Once i get it back from winchester fashion week, i can finally wear it :)

fell in love with this design, originally done by pippa larsen-forde. here edited slightly to reinforce the main lines to make it easier to simplify for a tattoo design. tattoo artist at fabios in cambridge redesigned it for me and tattooed it on my foot. his name is alfie. the robot not the tattooist.
